The new Listen360 platform divides the survey preview process into 2 parts:
- Feedback request message (email, sms)
- The in-browser survey experience
Previewing the Message
Navigate to Account > Templates, then click on the template you'd like to preview.
Within the template, scroll to the bottom. You will see the email configurations on the left and the email preview on the right.
By default, you will see the email body content with tokens. To preview with sample data, click the Preview with sample data button above the email.
If text messaging is enabled, you will see the SMS configurations and preview below the email.
By default, you will see the SMS body content with tokens. To preview with sample data, click the Preview with sample data button above the SMS message.
Previewing the Survey
Previewing existing Surveys
To view an existing survey, navigate to Surveys > Inbox > All, then use the Templates filter to filter by template name.
With your mouse over the feedback card you'd like to view, you will see an eye in the top right corner of the card. Click the eye to view the survey as a recipient.
After clicking to view the survey as a recipient, a new tab will open with an unanswered survey. You can now take the survey as a customer.
To begin, select a score. If you have additional questions configured, they will not display until after an NPS score is selected.
If you have Google review boost or redirect after completion features enabled, you will see those included in this flow.
Click Exit recipient view in the top-right of the screen or close the tab when finished.
Previewing new Surveys
To preview a new survey, assign the survey to a contact.
Navigate to Contacts > All and create a new test contact or search for an existing contact.
Note: If your new survey uses conditional logic based on attributes, you will need to create/update your contact record to include those attributes.
With your contact record selected, add the survey to the contact.
Click Add surveys, then Add next to the template you'd like to test.
With the survey added to the contact, you can open the survey by clicking Open on the survey card.
The survey preview will open. You can take the survey by clicking the View survey as recipient (eye) button.
If making modifications to a new template, you only need to add the template to your contact once. The updates will be displayed when you return to the contact record after refreshing.
