You can respond to reviews from Facebook, Google, Yelp, and others from Reputation Pro. For Facebook, Google, Trustpilot, and Yelp, you must first enter your credentials into LocationHQ. You don’t have to enter credentials for others such as ApartmentGuide or Cars.com.
To respond to reviews directly from Reputation Pro, follow these steps:
- Log in to Reputation Pro
- Go to Reputation > Reviews and locate the reviews to which you’d like to respond.
- You can use the Select Template menu to select one of the available pre-written responses or you can type your own response directly into the response field below the review
- When you’ve proofed and confirmed your response, select Publish.
Using AI Generator for Review Responses
The AI Generator feature makes it easier to respond quickly and effectively. It offers automatic, specific responses to each customer review, taking into account issues raised in the review.
When you use AI Generator, you can cycle through an unlimited number of potential responses to reviews that include text. The AI Generator can’t be used to respond to non-textual reviews.
To use the AI Generator, follow these steps:
- Log in to Reputation Pro
- Go to Reputation > Reviews and locate the reviews to which you’d like to respond. You can use AI Generator to respond to one review at a time.
- Click the AI Generator button below the review to see the generated response in the response field. The response appears automatically in the response field
- You can click the AI Generator button again as many times as you wish to see additional potential responses. Note that you can report an awkward or inappropriate response and indicate what you don’t like about it, which helps improve AI Generator. To report a response, select Report.
- When you decide which response you’d like to use, proofread it carefully to ensure it responds to all the customer concerns. If you need to, you can edit the generated response directly in the response field.
- Select Publish to publish the response to the review, making it visible to all visitors to your Review page.
Updating or Removing Review Responses
There is no way to edit or update a post after it has been published, but you can publish a new post. Write the new review response in the response text field below the review and publish it. This will replace your previous response to the customer on that provider.
If you publish a response to a review directly from the provider rather than through the Reputation Pro, the response will show up as "Comment from Business." Responses made this way can be removed by clicking the X icon. Responses made by users from within the Reputation Pro dashboard cannot be removed.
